Data East?
With Williams and Bally tables having disappeared and fled over to a different game, what are the odds of being able to secure the rights to tables from Data East?

Data East has some amazing pinball tables that I think could breathe some new life into TPA....

Stern used to be Data East, so that's already covered. ;)

They already have the ability to do Data East tables since Sega bought Data East's pinball assets and then Stern bought Sega's pinball assets.

Ah, wasn't aware of that....

Last Action Hero was a Data East table, and some others are already in TPA that were developed under the Data East name, but got Stern branding when they were eventually manufactured and released.

And while Date East does have some great tables, the only tables we would ever likely see in TPA are those that don't require third party licensing, which leaves the following:

Laser War
Secret Service
Torpedo Alley

Though not completely Third Party themed tables;
Checkpoint has Porsche IP
Time Machine has Playboy IP
that may be difficult to secure for digital reproduction.

Data East are my favorites e.g. Star Wars 1992; Lethal Weapon, Guns and Roses; Back To the Future; Hook. Now that Williams is gone perhaps they could make these tables.

I'd totally buy lightly edited versions of those tables with generic Italian super cars and generic hot chicks.
