Hey there Hammerfall. Sorry no, the Event Camera is Not the camera that zooms in and out during normal game play. The Event camera zooms in to specific mini playfield or toy features like on High Roller Casino when the ball goes into the Roulette Wheel and the camera zooms in to watch, that's an Event Camera. The X just controls the standard game play camera.
Yes Ecktown, the even camera can be turned off and on in the Controls settings in the menus. Let me know if you still can't find it and I'll assist further if I can. Cheers! :)
UPDATE: Ok, I went into the game and check it out for myself. Turning the event camera off is in the old interface and still on my xbox one. The Derpies at FarSight forgot to add the toggle to the new and often hated current interface. Let them know on there facebook page or make a separate post telling them to add it back in. Hopefully they might even see this one. Good day to all. Cheers! :)
Yeah I even checked Stern Pinball Arcade on the Box and it does have the the Event Cam Toggle option so it's definitely meant to be there! Good Luck buddy! :D
I vaguely recall they fixed a problem with the camera getting stuck by disabling the event camera a few updates back. perhaps this is the result? (I thought they just disabled it for the table, but I guess removing it completely also works eh...)
