I own it and not sure it's worth the money, given 1. FX3 has one for nothing and 2. Pinball Arcade Free Camera Mod.
Free Camera Mod hard to setup but results are good, more information here:

Also key unlocks better views with depth perception and kinect hardware support.

Yes.
But keep in mind that "cabinet mode" was something that Arcooda contracted Farsight to make for their Video Pinball Cabinet and it includes animated backglass and enhanced 3d playfield models for the 76 tables (most of which are no longer available to buy) that are playable in cabinet mode.
When Arcooda and Farsight found out that Bally/Williams tables were being removed from Pinball Arcade, Arcooda decided to have Farsight create a "Steam version" of the cabinet mode which you purchase from Arcooda in the form of a key you input within the application and is tied to your Farsight account.
You can get more info over on the Arcooda website.
Not to mention Ghostbusters premium does not allow a backglass, even if you pay for cabinet mode.
Zaccaria Pinball IMO is the best overall virtual pinball experience. Cabinet mode is just an option in game and VR is a mere DLC not an entirely new game. Not to mention the different play modes. Sure they are recreations of lesser known European pinball tables from the 70s and 80s, but they are challenging and fun. Also unlike Visual Pinball your highscore actually goes somewhere, a leader board.
Pinball Arcade really messed up. Yes, they lost the Williams licence but they still have Gottlieb rights. if they went the Zaccaria route they would have sold more tables.
Also if Stern thinks they would loose sales because people would just p[lay the virtual version instead of the real thing they're idiots. Even virtual pinball enthusiasts would rather have the real thing. Allowing pinball Arcade to recreate their tables with Cabinet support is just free advertising plus revenue sharing for Stern.
It's like saying no one will buy a mustang because they have one in Grand Tourismo. Stern might make great pinball tables but they are not that bright.
If vpx was a seamless install then maybe it would have more of a following. I personally purchased the Arcooda cabinet code and have enjoyed having it. I was up and running quickly. VPX is far from easy to make work in cabinet mode for me.
VPX really makes FX3 & TPA look bad given quality of tables.
System menu like PinUp Popper and VPX both have video guides to setup.
