What I had to do was:
1: in PBA (pinball arcade) config set DX11 to your monitors reverse resolution so I have an ultra wide 2560x1080 in the config program I set the resolution as 1080x2560.
2:right click on you desktop and under display/monitor settings change your monitor from landscape to portrait.
3: launch PBA from steam and not from the desktop icon. Select launch DX11 and it works.
Only problem is you can’t set it up flat on your screen your stuck with camera angles that are from one end of the table. It would be nice to set the table flat on my screen, or have a way to set up custom camera angles.
Ah yes the default shortcut just launches the the DX9 version if you wan't to launch dx11 from a shortcut you need to use startup parameters in steam to directly launch the DX11 version. There have been several request to just make dx11 default. For the other camera angles you will need to purchase cabinet mode or try with NoEX's FreeCamera mod, more info on this can be found here http://www.digitalpinballfans.com/forumdisplay.php/112-FreeCamera-Mod. At least you got it working though... TPA is just a bit weird that way
