On the other hand, if you don't want to draw attention to the fact there are no new tables, this design choice makes perfect sense.
Surely that means every table released after AC/DC is no longer accessible, regardless of ownership?
UPDATE
Another update has fixed the plunger and flippers, but other controls still borked and no table packs available to view in game. Seriously guys, what the hell is going on?
Just AC/DC on this occasion. The only announcement I noticed appeared on Facebook, eerily quiet here on Steam.
Another Update has restored the table packs! Hooray!
...
AND THE CONTROLS ARE EVEN MORE BROKEN!
Same, shift keys flip both paddles and nudges table. So tilt quit in no time. Game totally unplayable.
You're right the control settings appear to be corrupt, they now state: (NULL) and it seems impossible to re-bind them. I haven't worked out which file the game is using for key binds though it's one of these (C:\Users\'username'\My Games\Pinball Arcade).
Fortunately I keep backups in case of server issues, if I copy my old versions back my previous keybindings work.
I should have done that too, but I had no clue this would even be an issue. Game has worked beautifully for four years. (Got me through my political science class even) Who do I have to tilt to get this working again?
Not entirely sure, their customer service email is handled by a third party. I tried to add Mike so I could report issues quickly but it hasn't been accepted, not sure whether Jimmy is still on the team either.
I could potentially send you an earlier DX11 exe to try and sort out your bindings, though it has been fiddly and unreliable for quite a while now. Encrypting the general settings was a terrible idea!
Controls are still broken with latest update!
