I had renewed interest in the show till he was cast. Oh well. I guess I'll pick it back up again in another 20 years. They should be able to beam the show directly into my mind by then.
No. It was specially made by Farsight. It however has been made in such a way that it COULD be made into a real table. The ROM is based on the original Dr Who table (and sometimes can bug into that mode) and could be manufactured IRL.
All except the large Cybermen targets. Those targets would be a nightmare to replicate smoothly, I think. The speed at which they appear/move etc., isn't feasible, especially as there aren't any holes in the table. IRL, the Time Expander (which the Cybermen replace here) is a giant mess that frequently breaks.
It's buggy and the audio clips often play over one another. After teasing that they got several actors for voice work, it's mostly sound bytes taken directly from the show (at several different volume levels.) I think only Missy and the current Doctor have unique dialogue. The Daleks don't say "Exterminate!" They make a goofy "Ack!" sound when you hit them. The Weeping Angels make a sound like a crying baby, which is irritating after a few minutes.
So, the delay may be bugfixes or it failed Nintendos quality standards for content. That might explain why it was so quietly released on Steam.
This guy was trying hard to bait people to troll them and failed.
You've never really watched the show or have followed it at all. Proof is that you think Capaldi is a bad Doctor when in reality it was the writing that caused his time on the show to slide and made him decide he should probably go after this current series. That guy was born to play the Doctor and Steven Moffat ruined it for him. As for the "balck and white" doctor, which one are you talking about? An actual fan would have known there were more than one.
Any real fan would know this ;)
As for this table, it's a joke. Farsight can't do an original table at all. Real world machines they have and can touch, perfectly fine, but they need to quit trying original tables completely. They failed with their sad little Ghostbusters table they released for mobile a while back. All they did was take the "Haunted House" machine and slap on some Ghostbusters graphics and sounds. They then had the nerve to charge people for that. Not to mention there's nothing original about re-designing another machine. Try making a full blown machine from scratch using an original idea. That'll never happen from Farsight. If it does, then someone from the Stern team did most of it.
