Cue Ball Wizard is from the early nineties, and thus has much better sound and deeper gameplay with lots of different challenges, so it would be my favorite.
There is really no contest, you have a good Williams table.. vs a Premiere table with imo the worst video mode of any table . (that pool ball catch thing,, I once caught 3 balls not even touching the controlls).
@ topic
to me 8-ball deluxe is the best pool themed table so far.
Now we just need to get Pool Sharks. Then we'll gave the trifecta of pool themed games (that I've heard of)
EBD: 6
Wouldn't "Trifecta" mean "Three?" We already have three pool themed games.
I'd almost compare Cue Ball Wizard to Cirqus Voltaire too just because they both have that ball mechanism, though CBW takes it a step further IMO.
What's the third one I'm forgetting?
the best one, Big Shot
Then there's Pinball Pool which is the newer version of the above lavout(s) with updated rules for the transition to SS.
There's also a similiar thing with Eight Ball Deluxe and a later Stern game, Shakeys' Shootout; the same layout with minor changes and an updated ruleset to adjust for the new tech/MPU.
because of that i play eight ball deluxe more often
