Portal Runes - Special Equipment slot

As the inventory is pretty small at the moment, it would be really nice to be able to have the Runes hold a separate inventory slot. Even if it shrunk the size of the Rune icon to fit into some equipment slot. Or a hot bar that activates as you get Runes. Something else. And it wouldn't be a bad thing to hint at the Portal Runes via the UI layout. That's a pretty major feature that people want. I get the hiding things under quests. But teleportation's a bit of a major one feature and it may do more harm than good to the game and player base to have that as a hidden quest thing. I didn't find out about teleportation until level 23 and that's after someone told me about it out of game...

I thought the teleportation pads were used to get into the portal dungeons. :-/

Get a magical bag and place them in your bank. You can use them from there, same with buff foods if you use them. This way you only need to keep the magical bag on you.

Ha. I'm sure it is. I haven't attempted the dreaded "clean up the bank" task yet. -.-

I wish there were a quest to combine them. Activating would open a menu "Where would you like to go??" Would be cool.

I'd still prefer these as special slots or on a separate menu/ability bar. Bank's just a messy place to keep core functionality like this.
