The best treasure strat is to park you group far away, pop the chest, then run back to them to assess the spawn
I would suggest redesigning it in some way. An easy solution would be naming it something like "Cursed Treasure" and adding some dialogue or warnings here and there about the treasure being guarded by monsters.
A second thing I would suggest is maybe pushing the player away from the box when they activate it, and not letting them get closer until the enemies spawn. Then even if someone didn't read the first part they will have time to react to what is happening.
Even then fighting 5 enemies on your level is a challenge for people not buying higher lvl gear from the AH.
As it is now it is a really unintuitive and diapppointing.
Unless you knew what is going to happen before using the maps of course. But for me discovering the game by myself is more fun than always looking things up, Of course I do check wiki, but only when I'm stumped, if I know what to do I prefer to try it myself first.
