Nevertheless, the game reminds me more of Ultima online... even if it's more like Everquest in terms of graphics, of course...

Shards of Dalaya is now back if you're interested, it's now called Dalaya. I never played the original, but I've played TLPs for years with some of the people that did. I ended up making a static with one of the guys on the admin team on Teek, they relaunched back in September? of last year. It has been a blast so far.
