cannot find pickaxe or fishing pole

on starting island...completed tomb and i can't build the ghostly key because i don't know where or how to get a pickaxe. the guy by the dock mentions the store up the road sells fishing poles so you would think he has pickaxes too but the merchant(treven i think his name is) has neither. not sure what to do but i've been running around for like a hour and i'm starting to get turned off....what am i doing wrong? lol

uhm... theres a merchant in the village selling it. not that lonely shop house.

Lady standing on stairs of her house just outside the first small "town" offers fishing pole, pickaxe, a couple weapon molds and some spells and skill books.

Amethi Plazzo the Adventure Merchant? She's the one who sells them - just double checked. She's on the stairs of the house next to that stone arch leading down to the cemetery.

i had the same thing happen i think the problem is with most mmorpgs if you right click an npc and you are too far away your character will auto walk in range then the buy window will pop up in this game that doesn't happen so if you are 1 cm too far away you may think the person you are clicking doesn't sell anything when in reality your not close enough to purchase from them...
