Do simulated players actively do stuff?
I like the concept
if it's sort of like ultima online

watching players run around, do missions, NPC doing elderscroll stuff day/night shift, enemies actively doing stuff as well like rift/tabula rasa where they have goals as well , trade economy

then you have yourself an addictive single player game

Yup, they actively do stuff even without you! They will get stronger, get new equipment and everything even without your help.

i think you will have a group of "players" that will more closely follow your progress while others progress independently so that you'll always have "players" roaming no matter where you are

I do just want to add, in case there is any concern, that the AI players are not the AI gamers tend to know about these days. It's more like how Skyrim is, they are all coded. There is no language models or anything like that. They won't understand everything you say to them. But they will block you from you whispering them if you are mean :P I tried that in the demo and they blocked me lol.

HAHAHA thanks for checking for everyone.
Maybe I'll make it a goal to get private tell blocked by every NPC player in the game.

Partner with our signature Simulated Players to experience all of the content the game has to offer.

These players will level up alongside you (whether you're online or not)

How will they advance if I'm not there? Or does it mean while I'm afk with the game still running?

if this is true the dev has an ace game on his hand the MMO stuff is meh it's boring to me unless the dev is a good tier writer and knows how to craft dialog and a genius story but if this game is LIKE KENSHI/ELDERSCROLLS on crack with a world that doesn't care if you succeed or die and keeps moving then im all in.

I assume it just calculates how long you were offline and auto levels up the sim players and gives them new equipment and such. I do hope that new sim players can arrive. Like, if I only get to level 3 and am not able to play for a few weeks (I have gaming ADHD lol), will everyone outlevel me and I won't have a group anymore? I would think sim players would auto create, though, to avoid that from happening.

Maybe they'll beat the game without us lol

They only level up within a certain range of you, so they'll wait

They sure do. They loot nothing leaving mob corpses all over, they kill steal, they argue in chat and stand around sometimes staring at random scenery. They act like a bunch of pre-teens playing Runescape.
