Just curious about mods

I was curious if this would be open to the modding community at all, more to just help with the longevity and crazy content to the game. Can definitely see this falling into a great area where Terraria sits, tons of support from the community etc.

Yep, mods should definitely be a thing here. A poster on the Burgee Discord made a video on how to create them and posted it to YouTube. It looks like a private link, though, as it doesn't come up in the search but works when visiting the link directly.

There are already several mods working in the game. We have a dedicated Mod Showcase channel and Mod discussion chat on Discord. The modders are using Thunderstore mod manager.

At the moment there are no plans for official workshop. The game was not made to be modded but we 100% support it. Brian has said he hopes he can look at it in the future but can not promise anything about Steam Workshop.
