Demo Help

I have played through the Demo loop with 2 characters (a duelist and arcanist). On both I am struggling to scale after Level 4. The caster I had wanted to craft a Copper Scepter but couldn't find any Copper ore just iron. and on the Duelist i am capped at weapons with 1 mace and 1 copper sword.

I am seeing NPC's running around with better gear and weapons than me and was wondering where the drops were or how to get them?

Loving the game so far but I can't actually complete the store quest as my damage output isn't high enough to take down bosses yet.

Any help or rec's would be much appreciated.

Are you grouping with the NPCs? You should invite them to your party.

The weapon drops are limited in the demo, you're doing just fine. You just need a hand :)

In regards to mining, all nodes are universal meaning any mining has a chance to net you one of the following items (I don't know the percentages so I'll just generalize rarity):

Rock (Common)
Coal (Common)
Iron Ore (Uncommon)
Copper Ore (Rare)
Ancient Coal (Very Rare)

Keep mining and you'll find some copper. Also worth mentioning that if you do happen to find Ancient Coal, you can replace standard coal in any recipe for a slightly upgraded version of that item.

Thanks for the help, stuck with it and I now have more time than I'd like to admit on this tiny island. Enjoying it all now much more.
