Sim characters all out of level range!

Does anyone know if there is a way to manually level/de-level the simulated characters? For whatever reason they are all out of my main's level range and soloing isn't much of an option for where I am.

For whatever reason it doesn't seem to function. I know there is a way to edit the sim character's levels through the save data file for them, if I could find it lol

The reset function on the main menu isn't working for you? You have to check the acknowledgement box first to enable it.

How far out of your range are they? I just grind a few level solo on wolves or w/e then grab my level 9 buddies to carry me the rest of the way.
