you must've read a different transcript. they clearly said (after 3 years of silence, might I add) it'd be too much work to fix it, too many unity updates since then, etc. the game's not gonna get any more patches or content, the whole 'we're back' thing was just a half-assed apology years too late.

I don't think they'll come back to this.
For some reason there is a new game listed on their website "The Bazzar" which raised over $110k on Indigogo... so yeah they won't come back to this.

the only reason they came back to 'apologize' is because they have a new game coming out. not sure who'd give them money in advance (or at all) after eos, but targetting an entirely different audience worked, apparently.
