Then play PSI or NAVY... for a different game!
It was definitely a challenge, but I was able to balance it with good hacking, and having just an upgraded pistol and a laser rapier was enough weapon for me to get through it all. Pyrokinesis was my saving grace in the end game, though.
I was hoping pyrokinesis would help so I saved up for it but I've checked it up online to be sure and it said *again not very useful*... it seems there is no useful psi skills till you turn the amp into an amazing melee weapon as such should I just be focusing on psi that makes a melee build instead while saving up for the skill to make the amp a melee? or are people just a bit pesimistic saying pryomaniac isn't very good.
With this setup, you never need to find another weapon, because you can maintain your own, you can hack crates to turrets, and you will do decent damage.
Hacking however, is going to save you the most grief. Being able to shut down security, hack two turrets, and then stand back while they kill 10 enemies, using zero of your own ammo... priceless.
