Glitch problem..

So I just bought this game, and I've been playing and really enjoying it, but I think I came across a glitch. Basicly my character can't stop walking forward, I can walk backwards to stop myself but besides that I can't stop moving. I've searched all over the place and can't seem to find a fix for it, anyone here know any way to fix this?

ive had this happen back in the day, hitting random keys helped me, or re launching the game. but i havent had the problem in a long time and i never found out the real cause of it,.

This is a bug happening to me sometimes when I am going in and out of the map frequently, as I am searching for an area (where mini-map is too small to see what I am trying to get to). Eventually my character starts walking forward and no key combo stops it. Only solution is quitting to main menu and reloading my game.
I wonder if this bug can be patched. Happens quite often and it's a bit annoying.
