How far am I?
Just wondering how long this game is. I've been playing for a bit now and really enjoying it. I currently just turned on the elevators and was supposed to go to Deck 4, but ended up on Deck 3. How far am I? Still beginning, midway, or toward the end? I feel like I'm probably getting close to midway, but don't know.

beginning.

Approaching the end of the beginning IMO. Deck 4 is the transition to midway.

Ok well I inserted all the toxins and got to Deck 4. Saw the cutscene. Now I have some new objective. Can't remember what it was. Closer to midway now I guess. Man this must be a long game since I have over 7 hours in it and I'm just now getting to midway.

Took me 23-ish hours to beat.

My first time playing took 15-20 hours. It was long ago, so I'm not quite sure. So you should be almost midway through the game. It also depends on how good you are at spending your cyber modules.

My OSA playthrough was tough, for example, but being in the Navy makes the game easier

Oh ok. Thinking about it now, Thief Gold took me about 20 hours (Though I never beat it, just got to the final level) and I'm pretty sure it was made by the same people. Heck, they literally reuse a lot of the same sounds from each game.

My first FULL playthrough was about 9 hours.

By this point I had known MedSci 1/2 and Engineering like the back of my hand, so it saved some time.

'over 7 hours'
'long game'
Man... Frankly I always thought that "long game" = ">100 hours".
Well, maybe I became just too old for nowadays standarts.

Well a 20 hours story for a shooter is long-ish to me. Not saying long is bad or anything. The game is great so far. To me it just depends on the type of game it is. E.G. When I play an RPG like final fantasy I already know it's going to be long (50 - 100+ hours)

@Khranitel a long game is ~1000 hours. 100 is barely starting
@FudgeFiddle, well, sure, for a shooter, 20 hours of story is long, but SS2 isn't a shooter.

that's not the same though since its not a story game, its a sandbox game, technically to 'finish' something like hoi4 you just have to play as a country from 1936 to 1945, which may take something like 4-8 hours

True. I was thinking more of games like CK2, where you can play for a lot longer.
