Game length
How much does this game take to complete?
After doing the entire Thief trilogy, I was curious what was the thing with System Shock 2, since the first game was so hard and aged so badly.
How long did it take for you? Was it hard to get into at first?

I played co-op (so the game was easier), and it took my friend and I 12-18 hours to complete.

yea co-op sucks, it was meant for single player. That being said the game is only 12-14 hours long. if you like to search around for loot, it'll be an extra 2 hours

Seems much shorter than Thief.
Thank you and everyone else for the answers! This should be easy.

Only thing I can't decide is if I want the music.

the soundtrack comes with purchase, you just gotta go to the SS2 folder

I mean like, should I enable it in-game? Some people don't play with music.

thats totally up to you, trust me I would listen to the music while playing. The soundtrack is awesome buuuut it does kinda take away from the horror. My recommendation is try it with the music playing and if you think it takes away from the horror experience then disable it.
