Do implants stack?
Just asking before I get the upgrade that allows me to carry 2. I am doing a Psi-only run so I will need every boost of power i can get, and the stacked effects of 2 Psi-boost implants would be awesome

You can't use two implants of the same type.

you however, can stack psi boosts from different items, so for example, the +2 from the amplification spell, +1 from the implant, and +1 from the booster hypo, resulting in a temporary +4 boost on PSI.

This is correct.

However, it's still one of the better O/S upgrades, since it's so flexible, and is useful for any character build or playstyle.

Hypo-friendly might be better first pick on a pure psi run, though. You'll burn through a lot of psi-hypos with that playstyle, and +20% more bang for your buck nanites is nothing to sneeze at.
