Sudden boiler health loss

Whenever I get up to 4k residents and upgrade the boiler I always start having issues. The boiler health seems to rapidly drop and im finding myself immediately reducing the prv level. The other boilers don't do this. Max temp says 350 and im running around 220. Max boiler pressure says 250psi and im running at 190psi. It seems to drop in 5% chunks. What am I doing wrong?

2 things will reduce boiler life: steam temperature exceeding max rated temperature and sediment temperature exceeding max rated temperature. I suspect the latter is what is happening to you. Make sure to remove sediment from the boiler or offset the heat to prevent the sediment from absorbing too much heat energy. There is a digital readout for this value, just hover over the bottom area of the boiler tank.
