I can't unsee it now. (Visual bug)
Why are the spokes on the flywheel not spaced properly?
Run the engine at half the rpm of the framerate to see what I mean.
My OCD is going haywire!

spokes are perfectly spaced, did exactly as you said and ran the engine at half the framerate, spokes look perfect

Sorry, try around 600 RPM
Everything at 100% besides water (20%) and candle directly in center.
looking at it a second time, it looks like it is some sort of hiccup in the timestep.
@ 60 Hz rotating at 600 RPM means that the wheel will appear to spin slowly forward or backward as you hover plus or minus a few RPM. That is expected, but every so often the wheel will stop moving slowly and jerk around. I thought it was v-sync at first, but that appears to not be the problem.

Use the brake to hover around 600, don't go too fast or too slow because the wheel will get desynced from the framerate.

They're spaced evenly. You have screen tearing.
somoto the wolf Feb 11, 2024 @ 9:37am
I have allow tearing turned off.

They're still spaced evenly. And even if you don't "allow" tearing, it can and will still happen.

Show everyone a screenshot with the two teeth that are farther apart from each other than all of their neighbors, with pixels counted, or go home.
