I'm one of the person who believed the game play trailer from this game was fake, not that wasn't a game, or wasn't in-game footage, but a pre-render, or recorded in-place, something like that... After some days, and talking to people, I must say... I'm sorry.

Now I believe this game is real, that the trailer footage is, indeed, from in-game game play, I misjudged and I apologize. What made me think about that? Well... I simply didn't believe we could have a technology that made a video game so realistic. What made me think otherwise and accept it's true? This video:

This kind of reaction I expect given how UE5 can be used, especially when carefully used for smaller select environments over standard rendering.

If you really want to dip into what UE5 can do, just look it up on youtube, insane amounts of guides and presentations showing very realistic lighting and environments, on top of that playing with the engine is free and you can get a rather insane amount of free and paid megascan assets for your environments.

lol don't be sorry, they see it as a compliment. I was pretty skeptical too at first -- thought it was on rails until I looked into it a bit deeper. AFAIK they're still looking for investors, so all this controversy and word-of-mouth should bode well for them.

Why are you sorry? Most people are too stubborn to change their mind. When the game comes out they will all say they always knew it was of course not real footage.
