No FX Sound

Hi, I have a problem with Rise of the Triad... I don't have any sound effects sound, only the music. Am I the only one with that problem ? If not, does anyone have a solution for it ?

Not enough info. Are you using the Dosbox version or did you swap it with WinRottGL?
Windows or OS X? Go to Options and check the sound volume.

Dosbox version with Windows 7. I put the FX Sound to the max to be sure and no sound.

I assume you haven't modified the files and you have redownloaded the whole game. When this didn't help, try this:

Right click the game on Steam, properties, local files, browse local files, open the folder Dosbox, open the file ROTT.conf with notepad, replace the second last line at the very bottom ROTT to setup and at line 155 gus=false to gus=true and launch the game normally.

Now you notice a new screen. Hit Configure Sounds and reconfigure the sound with the help of the dosbox config file (line 130 - 134) or try with Ultrasound right now.
When you still hear nothing, try Ultrasound. Still nothing? then post your sound card and we may have to update dosbox manually.
