Remove debries warning from important screens

So I just made it to the solar storm biom. I encountered my first solar storm, closed the shutters and then tried to navigated by the small screen.
Which turned out to be impossible because the biggest part of this screen was blocked by a debries warning.
How am I supposed to fly around debries if I cannot see it behind the very warning telling about it?
I finally made it to my trailer and during docking got close again to a debries field. Which then blocked my docking cam.

you can disable the warning with a switch on the top right by the right engine on/off switch

The game tells you to check the glove box for a user manual for any questions you might have about your ship. I highly recommend going through it. It's 100% better then having an endless string of pop-ups you have to click out. Plus it has a lot of good info in it. Its the first thing i did when I started the game

The manual only helps if you know what you need to look for. I did look at it once I found it. And I have yet to find anytinkg about about a disable-debries-notification-button in it.
Thats what I meant with some things dont get explained in full.

Just bear in mind this also removes any beeping sounds when you have alerts like low fuel, temperature too high/low, oxygen depleting etc.

I try to only switch alerts off in moments when I specifically need the monitors and then turn them back on afterwards.

Is that what that switch is for? I thought it only disabled the beeping noises.
