I'm confused with how the electric storm works. I'm trying to dock at the job board, but there seems to be a storm right in front of the dock, which makes it impossible to dock. It just keeps striking my ship and ruining the shock shielding. Is this intended to be so close to the station?

If you wait around, the storm moves away. It takes it's sweet time though, similar to Just-in-time jobs, if you arrive early.

It does not make any sense actually lol

Stations should provide shielding in small area around them, you get shocked while docket which is beyond stupid.

I agree. Stations in that part of space should have some sort of shielding to protect themselves and the immediate docking area.

It's not like you "absolutely have to" dock in a staion that is inside electrical storm. Just move to next sector if you don't want to wait around.

Also, you can upgrade your truck's electrical dissipation. I have it on lvl1, with 10% dissipation. Once you fully upgrade it, it could make you immune to electrical storms (dissipating far more than gaining).

And it's not where once you get zapped, UCCs are frying. You have up to 3x shock pods + it takes some ~1500kV worth of zapping before shock pod pops.

So, all that complaining is for what? Want game to be easy and convenient? With 0 challenge?
