I find it worse travelling from Emerald Junction to New Aspen. I just leave the marked route to find a better path.

Yeah, going certain directions (can't remember which sorry) if you ignore the marked path and go straight towards the gate you break out into open space after a minute. Much easier flight after that.

Man, I hate that way. I was hauling two trailers and ended up damaging my goods. But then I found a way to reduce the damage by going around the meteorite cluster until I had completely cleared them, then heading to my destination.
