Barrow Side Job bug - Soft lock

Hi, I believe my save has been soft locked. After completing a few of the barrow side jobs, I've unlocked the "smuggling compartment". Now, that means I should be able to the the next side job, right? Well not quite. The next side job is still locked, saying i need to complete the previous side job to unlock.

My question is: has anybody encountered this, and if you have, how did you fix the problem?

Same issue for me. It got bugged after I had both the meet Barrow secret compartment quest and the Star Candy tow reactor quest lines active in New Aspen. After I towed the reactor the barrow meet point disappeared in New Aspen as well as the quest.

I have not yet found any way to get the Barrow secret compartment quest to re trigger.

Same, i have reported the issue. Would like to have some solution to this problem, as this blocks progression in the game. Anybody got news about this?

In order for this issue to be addressed, each of you should probably share your skill trees so that it can be determined if you actually unlocked the next phase of job assignments. What jobs you have already completed might help too.

I'm not clear on whether you went to Sour Candy's workshop in Tank Town to have the "Cookie Hold" Compartment installed or not.

Same problem here, the next quest from the Barrow questline after getting the secret compartment is not available (the quest after you got the "cookie hold" installed, to answer FDR's question).

Or to be more precise, it is not available _any more_. I definitely remember that Barrow contacted me in New Aspen about the next assignment, and I told him that I am busy, since I wanted to do the reactor thing for Sour Candy first since that sounded more important than some smuggling.

When I was done with that I wanted to go back to the Barrow quest - but it was not there any more. The quest had disappeared from the side mission window completely.

I assume this has something to do with the sector New Aspen changing after you throw the reactor into Hells Pocket. The facility does not release its gas clouds any more, and the two trucks of Sour Candy and her brother are docked there (and still are, even after finishing the towing quest saving the facility - I just checked). This sector change seems to remove the follow-up quest from Barrow.

Skill-tree-wise I have every cargo type unlocked at least at level I, most things at level II. But I do not think that this is part of the problem, since the next quest from Barrow _was there_, and I already could have taken it.

All other questlines from the other truckers I have finished now. It did nothing to make the Barrow quest reappear. I would just need to continue Barrow now to get to the final quests.

And I would not call this bug a "soft" lock, since it blocks you from half the Barrow questline, the final questline and the last sector without any way to work around that.

Same issue. Started doing Barrow's quest, installed the smuggling compartment, but when I arrived to New Aspen, I decided to do the reactor quest first, because it sounded more urgent. At some point during or after reactor quest, Barrows smuggling quest disappeared both from my quest log and from the New Aspen system.

I really hope there is some solution.

I also ran into this bug.
I was on the Barrow quest, the emergency reactor quest popped up and I did this - because it was an emergency.

I really hope they will fix this that you can finish this story-line and don't have to start all over again.

Also: This needs more attention, because it is a game breaking bug. ;)

i finished the one were i got the coocky hohle last week.

and now the carge that i hade to park there is still there and market as cargo.
and sour candy shop is also on the map but not interactable. i think it buged by me too.
its a bit sad. that was a good run so far.

i was not at the reactor quest i was one bevor the quest with the firework.
