Don't get dicouraged from it it is what it is for that matters, any game have to be configured by 'you' and only 'you' to get to that point of 'good feel' for the game.
You do it for the graphical settting, the sound etc. and that way you learn where the weaknesses are from the game and whats it's limitations, for you to understand, where u are, in the game. This goes for everygame olmost. 👍
Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. Switching "difficulty" mid-save is a tricky process due to how the game initializes the galaxy when starting a new game. However, we'll try to find time to investigate whether or not there's a solution that would allow players to tweak balance options mid-game.
Thank you!
Thanks for the clarification. But then it would be very helpful if we at least knew which settings apply in which mode, so that when we start a custom start we know which settings we need to adjust. Or ‘Presets’ in the custom start, so that the settings are preselected according to the mode. Both would help us to find the right personal balance.
This is a great idea. At least let the player know what options from the "custom" screen apply to "Recommended" and harder difficulties ahead of time.
i mean hey if not maybe you guys could add more detail when selecting options? i left a review that kinda mentioned the idea. in short maybe there could be a picture that shows stuff like how much space debris there would be, or maybe the same thing but showing what the energy drain would be like on lower or higher settings. i think you catch my drift, it'd help players be more informed on what they are actually changing :3
lol maybe i'll try that XD
To be honest, i personally dont even want the ability to change the difficulty settings.
What i would love is to have the ability to see the settings in a custom game i already started, meaning i could tell people what settings i play on because i dont remember 3/4ths of it xD
