AI is frustrating.

Doing that first mission of fragile load and you set up to back into a dock as you are lined up and start backing the AI runs into you making you majorly damage your load and truck.... They should have to obey common sense rules like don't run into the player while they are backing near a dock... Some thing like when near docks they look at the momentum of the player to see if we are backing up so they wait and not just plow thru us as if we don't exist.

Agree sometimes the AI are frustrating. You really have to watch out for them. That said, I have never backed into a spot in the game, not once. Cool if you enjoy the extra challenge of backing up in space though.

backing up is rarely necessary. If you drive defensively (as you should in every simulator and IRL too) you most likely won't have problems with the AI. I've played almost 50 hours and got rear-ended once by another truck and once by one of those service bots, all the other damage i've taken has been my own fault lmao

Indeed, the AI doesn't Take the player into account at all except to honk at them; had an NPC truck sideswipe me in the right-most lane today in Redsock. I was on my way to Three Kings, merging into the exit for the gate and the SOB came up on my left and proceeded to push me into the marker ribs, trying to get in the spot I was already in in the right lane. And don't get me started on the drones and service vehicles...

these drones, service bots are complete maniacs. they would driver over a kindergarten group if they cross there path! these things crashes in my truck like cruise missiles!

this games really needs a temporary shield module that take incoming force like the buffer for the electric storms

The forklift drones used the "Klaus the Forklift Driver" video as an instruction manual instead of a warning.

I'd gladly pay a $100 fine per disabled drone if I could blast them with an EMP to ensure they don't wreck my truck and the cargo I'm hauling.
