Careless Driving
I don't really understand what constitutes "careless driving" here and why am i fined every single time? Is it because I'm just flying all over the place? Did I hit debris? Entering military airspace?

I would like to know that too

For me, I think sometimes my trailer taps the back of my truck a little when turning hard which lowers the trailers HP by like 1%. Pretty freakin annoying.

If that's the case, I would like a refund

I got a $10 bonus for zero damage and then fined $300 for careless driving... wtf? I didn't hit anything, and there was no "highway route" to take because the highway only lasted a short distance and went the wrong way LOL, I don't get it. It was enough for me to quit the game after 1hr total playtime saying nope!. This was the second mission in the game after unlocking the first fragile skill point hauling glass a very short distance.

one time when the "weight inspection" was announced to me entering the level, i disposed of a container in space. practically it worked lowering my weight, but at the inspection I was fined for careless driving.

You can enter a weight station with a trailer, they only scan your cab

Yeah. Its a "Pia". But guys, i guess its the Speed Limitation wich takes all the Money. Spee, Crashing and Driving of the Highways are the reasons i think

Yeah, you need to be careful when you are with cargo. Full speed and hard turns are “careless” so you get “careless driving” maybe that could be more forgiving, but imo it’s great that you need to paying attention when driving because it’s absorbing. It’s kinda hard simulator and I like it.

how is full speed and hard turns "careless" in space with no gravity to cause any damage? If G-Force was a thing with cargo, shouldn't there be damage displayed?. My cargo had zero damage, I got there safely with no damage, all sensors good. What am I supposed to do? drive at 50% speed and only turning halfway on the wheel just to be safe against an invisible unmonitored unexplained statistic that isn't shown in a pop-up or drivers manual? It's ridiculous and made me quit. Why should I lose 20% of my contract to this?

that's not the most ridiculous part, the weight limit in the game at the weigh stations are ridiculous.
you can't carry more boxes with fuses or fuel cans because what?! I'm too heavy?! FOR SPACE?!

Wait, are u saying that if u buy too many of those tiny little computer chips and power cores that you can pickup 6 of at a time in a container, which means its light enough to pickup easily by a fat space trucker.... makes your SPACE SHIP too heavy?!

The same, I sold it at a shop in the same system. was fined with "unauthorised disposal"

yes. I had to throw away something at the weight station, so i disposed of the fuel canister. I coulnd't even fathom disposing of the power cells or the air filters or UCCs...
this game is just bonkers bro xD

You do know that weight still matters in space right? or at least, the mass that it becomes does.

Since weight = mg and there's no gravity in space, its a one to one conversion. So 300kg weight would be 300kg mass. It may not seem important but the more mass something has, the more force is required to move it. So if you was running the truck at 150km/h with 300kg+whatever the truck itself weighs, its going to take much longer to stop than if you had say 150kg additional mass. Even more so if you are also hauling trailers.

Basically, it's a safety standard to make sure your truck and or you yourself will be able to handle and control the truck stopping slower. Obviously, this is less likely to be a problem irl but with how they have space highways where you are driving pretty close to other truckers and some rather condensed areas at times for space at least, it does matter more in the game than irl.

are you like pissing in my face right now because it feels that way to be honest....
Obviously I DONT HAVE A WEIGHT PROBLEM IF I CAN STRAP 3 FFREAKING TRAILERS BEHIND DO I ?!
But having an extra fuel canister is a NO-NO! Can't TRUCK in this sector with THAT much weight in your CABIN!
Please just shill somewhere else ok?!
