How to repair hull?

The manual says I need to go to a body shop, but the only one I found has a locked icon over it. Is there some other way to repair the hull? I'm currently at 20% integrity and getting nervous

if it is just a breach, get in your spacesuit and airlock and fly to the breach. hit the button that appears on screen.

you need to find repair shop and pay for repairs there

You may have to progress a bit further- I've just repaired mine at a body shop for free because I still had less than 80000 miles on the counter and my truck is still in warranty :D

It's either level related (I think I'm 3?) or you may have to do the first mission, I'm not sure.

Body Shop is for truck customization. You need a repair shop

You can repair the Hull in the Body Shop as soon you made a few contracts and you reached the Mission Checkpoint with the warranty expiring.

Ah! Ziros might be right, my bad- not in game atm. There's a few different places out there to do with maintenance, it's one of those. The one with the bigger gate- just fly up to it and it should open.

I'm level five and I haven't encountered anything about a warranty. I've done two missions for sour candy and one for the red guy. Where is this "first mission"?

Ah! The red guy was my first contact. His first mission was to deliver some fragile cargo. (I'm assuming Sour Candy had you deliver something quickly, on time?)
After that, in my next communication with Red, he asked me what my truck's mileage was. (It's on your dashboard) Mine's on something like 79000. Sounds like our newbie protection warranty expires after 80000 miles. Be sure to fix up before then :D

I just passed 80000 miles, and my onboard computer actually gave me a message that my warranty has now expired. Full price repairs for me from now on!

The repair shop is in Atlas Prime and is marked by a twin piston icon. It's described as an upgrade shop but when you pull in there's a "repair" button. My warranty expired right when I found it because I drove around for 30 minutes looking for it. Please learn from my mistake.

For the record, you can repair your hull at an upgrade shop, a paint shop, OR a body shop. they all offer hull repairs. At the beginning of the game while your ship is under warranty the only one available will be the upgrade shop at Atlas Prime.
