key remap: TrackIR compatibility?
Firstly- absolutely loving it! The looks and feel are both absolutely spot on.

I've read that key reconfiguration is on the to-do list.
May I request that, while this is being worked on, you also have a look if TrackIR can be bound to the view controls? This game is a perfect example of where TrackIR would shine! Your limited views out of the cockpit require quite a lot of looking around (IE. mouse or right thumbstick movement) and it'd work brilliantly with it. When switching to first person view, I'd probably just lock the camera fixed forward, maybe with an option to toggle that on too.

If the dev isn't familiar with TrackIR- it's much easier to implement than VR- it's basically an alternate analog input for your view controls. (And, go buy one right now, you'll see what I mean about a perfect fit for this, or look into toby eye tracker)

I'd even wonder if TrackIR would be interested in promoting this game to work with it?

For you fine people who seem to share my liking of the TrackIR set: what's your thoughts on what the devs should do for the first-person parts? A bit harder to implement correctly I think- as it'd be linked to movement direction originally. I'd think- probably just turn it off. Other option- allow looking around but the helmet stays fixed forward- to allow you a good reference of what is forward.

Totally granted it'd be great in VR too, but that's a considerably bigger task to implement :D
At least with TrackIR or Toby eyetracker it basically just needs to link to the view controls, should be easy to do without taking up too many programming resources, assuming it's done alongside of implementing remapping of controls. (same system)

I was hoping there was a thread discussing TrackIR, because I came to ask for it!

TrackIR + Wheel/HOTAS support would take this game to the next level immersion-wise & I've been needing to dust off my TrackIR for AGES.

PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS, DEVS!

I have a tobii 5c and I would also like support for that. Have it turn off when you leave the pilot's seat(like in farm sim) Remapping some functions like jumping and uncoupling/coupling maglocks to a button box or other device would also take it up a notch for me.

I am having fun with this game, and would even buy a hotas setup, if it was implemented.

I'd like to see Tobii support added too if you decide to go down the route of supporting TrackIR.
