how to attach more trailers?

i accepted 3 quests to deliver trailers to one sector, however i for some reason cant attach a trailer to another

You need to unlock this feature.

It's probably because job boards also show jobs that have cargo pickup in distant regions, so you can grab a few jobs and then pick up another trailer where you drop the first one off.

I'm curious how you'd practically hook up! I wonder if it's just like reversing a truck.

I have unlocked 2 trailers and the jobs provide you with the trailers. Don’t think you can take two jobs with 1 each and take them.

It would be nice to be able to manually hook other trailers on but for now it looks like just the jobs dictate this.

I dread to think the swear-and-sweat-inducing torment of hooking up a third trailer with the mechanics of a double pendulum in 3d... oof!

would be nice if you could get like a "yard worker" (for like lore sake but it just automatically spawns onto your trailer) to hook up trailers for you so you can connect two different jobs together

Ya I just accepted two jobs leaving the same system I am in, unfortunate you cant connect them.

Damn... I was just about to ask this question... Really missed a trick there...
I just spent about 5 min getting the back of the 1st trailer to be perfectly aligned with the second, then realised there isn't a button/leaver to attach it... :-(
