How is the performance and optimization now?

I'm on the fence on buying this - but after playing the demo I experienced really poor optimization.

How is it running now?
Better than the demo or are the framedrops and poor CPU utilization still an ongoing issue?

game is only using 50 percent gpu and 18ish cpu while only hovering around 68 to 70 fps, increasing rendering quality reduce fps further but refuse to use more gpu/cpu

It´s unplayable on i7-13700 / Arc A770 16GB / 32 GB DDR5 4600Mhz
Stutters heavily on the title screen no matter the settings.
No compatible driver i would guess.

Correction:
It stutters heavily if the displays of the truck are powered and rendered and as i said on the main menu.
Looking at the backside of the cabin (or being EVA) game will run @100FPS+

Somethings clearly wrong.

That's what i'm experiencing also. It runs well, it's not crapping out or anything. But it doesn't seem to be using the full potential in my system.

Liking the game so far.

I briefly played this. In the first zone where where you jump after patching your truck there is constant stuttering. I delivered the initial cargo and didn't play further. The FPS seems to be fine but there constant little pauses every second. Others got this too?

I'm having the same issue, the game is completely unplayable for me, which is really disappointing. AMD Ryzen 9 7900X/ ARC A770 16GB/ 32GB DDR-5 6000Mhz

Performance is pretty poor for me at the moment, much worse than it was in the demo

Played some more in the evening. Disabled vsync and chose full screen windowed. Those mini pauses are gone now and it runs smoothly. But it runs smoothly with even if I enable vsync or full screen. So basically restarting pc did the trick.

I have an RX 580 8gb video ram and i5-4690 16 gig system ram.
Playing fullscreen+vsync, everything is on max except render resolution is on 120% at 1680x1050 resolution on a 1920x1080 monitor 1080p 120hz.
( I like stretched res )

I can't believe I'm still getting 30-60 fps outside the cockpit with my engines on fire, fire extinguisher smoke clouds, asteroids flying by, giant sun and planet in background + nebula and lots of NPC's. All on screen at the same time.

I'm impressed by the performance in the game on my system. Big thumbs up to whoever worked on optimisation.

I wouldn't say it's great... 3070ti - Ryzen 7 5800x - 32gb ram - running on an ssd and playing in 1440p and I can barely get 60fps on medium settings, certain areas go up to 70-80 but in others I dip below 60fps
