Easy fix: functional bed in the cabin. Slider for time skip from 30 minutes to 10 hours.
Smallest should be 10 minutes and biggest should be 24hrs (for those shopping sprees and vendor resets.)
You have to sit there with the game in focus (because time didn't seem to progress when I tested it by (windows keying out - don't alt tab because the game, even from the main menu, will remember your ALT press..... same thing with Shift+Tab it will remember the shift key press and it will stick until you hit it again) went out waited two minutes and no time had passed.
Thank you all for your comments and feedback. We're working on the 'In Time Jobs' right now, but we agree that this would be an ideal way to integrate the sleeping functionality. It's definitely something we're considering for the future!
If you could tab out and the game ran in the background (with sound for O2 alarms etc) so I could use my other monitor and do whatever that would be an okay compromise.
