Jump Gate broken, stuck in Tanktown, can't save, and an hour's progress down the drain

I haven't seen a bug report system/link anywhere, so I'm gonna drop it here along with a complaint.

Has anyone else had an issue with the Jump Gate breaking or not working? I'm not talking about issues with aligning with it to get the countdown to start. I was aligned and ready to go, gate powered up, then nothing. I heard a horn behind me, turns out I cut in front of another truck. No big deal, so I got out of the way and at the back of the line, only for the gate to still not work when I get to the front.

After cutting in line the one time, the gate was broken. It was constantly charging/blue, the lights were stuck green, the whirring of a charged gate played constantly, and nothing would happen. I could still align myself and hear the charging sequence. But if I did this as if it were normal and threw the jump lever, the animation would start and I'd get pulled through the gate just to not get a loading screen and still be stuck in the same area.

I tried going to the fuel pumps, the store, and the job post, but no amount of menu-hopping would let the game forget about the gate. Because of all this, the game refused to let me save, and my previous autosave was from over an hour before this happened. So, cutting in line cost me an hour of progress and 30 minutes of troubleshooting an apparently insurmountable issue.

This was all after restarting the save after 2 hours and getting stuck in a suffocation loop because I got stuck with no money and 1 air filter on the default / "recommended" difficulty (that is ridiculously annoying and unbalanced for a brand new game unless you want spend hours swapping batteries after spending 85% of your hard-earned profits on air filters and Duracells).

Lesson learned: don't cut the jump gate line or the reckless driving fines will look like child's play
