I'm the worst trucker in space....
So Lucky Jay has got to be the only trucker in all of known space that is too dumb to own a strap. A real trucker would have straps and they would strap down their load. Whether that is a fuel can, a power cell or a cargo box. The whole idea that I am not smart enough to strap stuff onto my shelves is lame.

Also space is full of trucks yet the "store" sells a single power cell and you can't recharge at the fuel station or docked at the job board etc. Where are my solar panels?

That's true. My first thought when I saw the cab was that I'd be able to have upgrades to the truck that would add actual things there like the straps. But upgrades are just numbers and I'm doomed to have boxes fly around the cab and stuck in my face whenever UCC blows in the gravity compensator.

A solar panel upgrade on the roof that you had to orient towards the systems light source would be cool.

Don't forget that when you're trying to rearrange your onboard supplies and cargo, you end up breaking things just setting them on the ground. Wtf. The devs must be weird people. They made a game that looks like it's supposed to be a laid back and chill delivery game, but really everything is out to screw you over and kill you.

Then don't. Put them on the bed or the service table. Or turn off gravity.

Better yet, buy cardboard boxes. They are cheap, lightweight and don't break. They protect items inside. Space magical cardboard, I assume.

Two cardboard boxes weigh 6 kg together and can stock 8 items, as opposed to the 10kg and only 6 slots of a hardcase.
