There is no point in taking multiple jobs at once.
After some very punishing trial and error, I've found that even if you get the multi-trailer skill, you STILL can't hitch multiple trailers for two different jobs. That skill only lets you pick up jobs that involve two trailers that are already attached.

Granted, getting two trailers attached with the current tools available would be brutally hard-- making it require a short EVA might be cool though. Even still, plotting out routes and knocking out multiple simultaneous deliveries at once is an integral part of the genre. I was in disbelief that it isn't a feature.

yeah, taking more than one job is silly. If you dont pick up the cargo of the second job soon enough it fails and you get fined really bad.

The only way it make sense is if you have a job going to one system and then another job where you pick up there and bring it back to the system you got the jobs from

I was going to do that one time, but the job available with the pick-up OOS didn't allow enough time for an on-time delivery. It was as if the job time was based on being in sector and didn't actually allow for the round trip. So taking multiple jobs that completes a nice round trip are something that I ignore, and just grab a new job at the location I'm going to if available.
