PC players turn sticky keys off. it is why you keep going backwards.

are you a PC player ? if so i is sticky keys. press Shift 5 times turns on sticky keys and as shift is the reverse key in this game it is easy to do. disable sticky keys in your PC settings to stop this.

Does anyone actually find sticky keys useful. I've always seen it as something you never notice until it interferes with your gaming.

Ive had that sticky keys pop up multiple times now, always when im trying to pick up a trailer as i inch close and closer. Caused me to smash into one once. :?

What exactly is the point of sticky keys.... seems like one of the dumber microsoft ideas.

is there a way to turn that off perm?

It's an accessibility feature that's for some bizarre reason is on by default. "Nobody would press Shift five times in a row by accident!"

Go to settings > Keyboard

You can turn it off, Also disable the "shortcut to enable sticky keys" or you'll get an annoying pop up every time.
