Power management game first, trucking sim second
The power cells drain way too fast and cost a lot to replace, no way to charge them so you are constantly buying power cells, you cant even buy a few from the same shop as far as I know.

You can turn down the level of battery drain on custom difficulty but yep, I think its quite annoying, also the same happens with the air filters. Hope the dev's correct this ratios on a future update or something, or adding some king of battery charger too, I think's its a must. WE HAVE SPACE TRUCK HOW WE CAN'T EVEN HAVE A POWER CELL CHARGE :isaac:

We already mentioned that at the demo and nothing happened. There is also no display for the URK modules.

Ive just made a point of always buying batteries and keeping at least 6 on hand at any given point.

I find mysef jumping from store to store just to buy another powercell there. Some of them have few but damn 500 for powercell is too much when u get like 1000-1600 in the beginning

just started the game and i see this is a problem at start. however i wonder if, when we buy a new "truck", if they will be a bit more less power hungry and use less battery. Newer model, newer technology, more efficiency, less consumption.....
If this is not the case, then batteries will be a huge issue with the game indeed.

Indeed, you can upgrade your truck at the shop for better power efficiency by individual system. It's a generous boost too.

I visit every shop in each system I visit, and almost always load up on all the batteries they have (as well as anything being sold under value to sell for profit later) and sell old empty batteries (even one with under 10% sells for one 5th the value of a full charged battery, that's generous) and so far it has not been a problem. 2.5 hours in and only had to change oxygen once, core power cells once, and gravity twice. That is over the course of 6 or 7 hauls. As it is, that is not bad, and after a few upgrades it will be even better battery life and thus even less of an issue.

I'd say if it feels unbalanced, pick an easier difficulty?? I'm at Recommended.
