Deplation rate for PowerCells is oppresive.
I love the concept of the game, and I love the Space Truckers esq style you've put in to it. I didn't find the controls at all difficult to pick up and remember. My biggest gripe with the game is the power cells. Don't get me wrong the game mechanic of having to do maintenance on the truck, patching hull breaches etc is AMAZING. I love it. However the depletion rate on the power cells and the ability to source more do not correlate to each other in my opinion.

I started a new game, on the recommended setting. I got given 2 or 3 power cells and 1 air filter to begin with. However by the time I got to the mission to meet Red Eddie so he can tell me to go to the paintshop at 80,000 miles my power cells were all but depleted. To be clear, I was running at max power conserve - suite charger off unless I needed it, internal lights off, all external except primary headlights off and maglocks off unless I'm towing something / docking.

I went to the nearest station and to my shock I can only buy 1 power cell type at a time. One of any item at a time actually. When every system is on sub 20% that's a problem. So I decided to go salvaging. Found 1 power cell, a fuel can, and a air filter from that.

At the moment i'm not doing a lot of the "trucking" because i'm darting from station to station or from scav site to scav site trying to keep my systems powered in a never ending vicious circle of doom. I would like to see to be some mechanic that allows us to recharge the power cells at the cost of fuel over time. Maybe with diminishing returns after each charge EG so that eventually you do need to source a new one.

1st Charge - 100% return
2nd Charge - 85% return
3rd Charge - 70% return

So on and so on until eventually the powercell can no longer be charged and you're forced to either find a new one or buy a replacement.

quick powercell update- I'm now a bit further in (only a bit!) and I'm comfortable- I've got a box of 6 cells to spare, and can wait until I bump into a shop that sells them at a discount. It really does get easier.
The air filters are the biggest difference- with 4 installed they last aaaages.

The game needs a recharge station, its so obvious that the first thing you search in game, and not a gas station, so much potential in this, even like some solar panels upgrades, thats why this game feels like an mobile game
Too be fair, it seems monster and monster come from a mobile game background. They have 4 known titles on their website, deep loot being the most known one I could find.

It seems this is their first PC game, at least under their monster and monster studio, they have another studio called Size Five Studios. Which they seem to be linked to which does have PC game experience.
