But yeah, always check on the timings.
Here's an example:

It's more about just generally not enough time to actually complete a contract. On-time at least. I don't know what the fine is for delivering late. But take this for example where a job is being offered that clearly is impossible to deliver on-time. It's a rush delivery, but unlike ATS/ETS, there is in fact no way to rush the delivery on this job to make it on-time.

I would genuinely like to know if this is intended that a player has the ability to take a job that they cannot deliver on-time therefore accepting a late penalty, or an oversight by the developers.
Instead of the 1h18m in my above example, if the expected by delivery time was near the estimated time, basically no room for error or messing around, and might have to navigate through some rocks to make it, that would make more sense. Currently it doesn't make sense that a player is basically accepting a penalty right off the bat before they even leave the job board.
but some missions pay good no matter what, even if it gets late. but it sucks when all the jobs are out of time, low pay etc etc. sure sometimes one have to get what one can, but to be double or triple punished for it... kind of sucks and makes trading more of a thing than hauling cargo.
