I've got a rig pretty much like yours, only difference being an i7-13700K and a RTX4070ti and I rarely notice any performance drops or stutters. The game is running 98% perfect, let's say... the only very minor stutter/performance drop I noticed, was in Spark City... I'm not measuring my FPS, but I've noticed a slight "jittering" when I'm moving the camera around, inside or outside of the truck. But overall, the whole game is running pretty well. Now, given how many people are complaining about performance issues, I'm just totally ignoring this, one because is the game not my computer and two because is not even noticeable during gameplay.

NVCP is pretty much unchanged, only Prefer Maximum Performance in Power Settings and I have V-Sync turned ON there and OFF in game. G-Sync monitor and FPS capped at 144 in game, as I have a 165Hz monitor set to run at 144. In game settings all maxed out.

I have been messing around with my drivers cause I did have a driver update this morning.
I removed the driver and reinstalled. So far the game has been running pretty smooth. I also noticed the stuttering way more while in Spark City. I haven't been back there since I did the driver reinstall.

For those with stuttering, do you have the game installed on a mechanical harddrive, SSD, or NVME?

I haven't had any stuttering, but I'm running on an NVME.

My laptop is a SCAR 18, 14900HX (55-65w) mobile [phone]w) and 64GB RAM, not a single CPU thread is being fully used, my GPU is at max 30%~, highest CPU Thread I've seen was like... 50% at most

Make sure your power settings are forced on, and the game is using the dedicated GPU... Windows 11 changed things and you have to set that manually for each game, instead of a global option for everything.

Sometimes it doesn't switch to the NVIDIA unit from the integrated graphics

So at this point I'm completely out of ideas, I will admit that it is only some areas (Emerald Junction seemed to be running pretty happily at 80FPS, 30% GPU, 30% CPU) but then others (Like Medusa 6 can barely stick to 60FPS, despite the same draw on the system)

I've done far too much testing, benchmarking, and stresstesting so at this point I highly doubt my laptop has ANYTHING to do with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game performs, just completely out of ideas and nothing makes any sense

Does this game support forcing the -force-d3d12 command line option? Long story short this game is CPU limited and DX11 basically thread limiting the gpu.

I can not get this game to play at any FPS.
When i start it up, it literally becomes a slideshow. It does not go over 1 FPS no matter what i do. I did put everything to the lowest settings, i closed everything else running on my pc besides this game and steam, and it was still just 1-5 fps.

I also have pretty good pc parts, and can play no man sky at high settings with around 60 fps at all times. And my Task Manager displays that my usage never gets higher than 50%.

Does anyone know how the hell i can get this to work? I just bought this game 5 minutes ago and want to play it, but i cant, and i know that my System is more than capable to run it at high settings.

I just worked out to get 60fps in this game you have to put it into exclusive fullscreen ,not sure what they did but the when in borderless window or windowed mode it caps down to 30
