Hi there, the devs are investigating joystick support. They really want to include support for joysticks and other specialised equipment in the game so it is something they will endeavour to try and make this happen. We'll keep everyone informed about the progress on this when we have more news to share.

Hotas support is exciting to hear about. I will be following with enthusiasm! If I'd be able to use my hotas throttle and a flight yoke from my Cessna as well as an option that'd be sick too.

Please include Yoke support in your research. Velocity 1 and HoneyComb and several others would fit perfectly in this environment. Especially if you allow the use of custom button boxes as well.

The game supports 6DoF for both the truck and external space walks. As for controllers, the devs want to support as many options as they can at launch, and keep updating post-launch to provide our players with the best experience. HOTAS is a big priority.

Joystick, HOTAS, wheel, and/or yoke support will be my deciding factor whether or not I pick this up. At this point any and all new space games where you fly ships (or trucks) should support controllers on day one.
Thousands of joystick and HOTAS owners are starving for more games to use their expensive gear on. If they (we) are willing to dump hundreds, if not over a thousand bucks on gear, you can be sure we’d pay for almost any game that supports it.

Bought the game without asking if hotas or wheels could be supported, since I got the two, I wanted to test.
