how do you shop? and get more stuff?

I docked at a store but was unable to get more supplies like cores or fuel.

The demo doesn't appear to have any vendors unlocked apart from the paint & body shop in Atlas Prime. You can do color/skin changes there and get the hull repaired- cost me about $5,500 to repair from somewhere between 20-30% up to full.

Okay thought so. I like the game but want to go at my own pace and the cores deplete so fast I cant get into a zen when I play these kinds of games.

you can get more fuel from the gas stations but the only way to get more batteries is to salvage them from crates floating in space. there is a lever to the left of the jump switch that will send out a scanner ping that should highlight salvageable stuff
