- I turned off oxygen system
- I taked off the fuse of oxygen system
(!) Then core system has shut down, unexpentedly
- I inserted a new fuse in oxygen system
- I turned on core and oxygen system
(!) Oxygen system still not worked
(!) Oxygen depleted instantly
Game over
What have I mistake? Maybe a game error?
Core and oxygen system powercell seemed fine, although I think energy comes from the dock
But seriously it is on my buy on release list. I'm glad I read the FAQ you posted before giving any feedback or questions.
I see some people having crashes, performance issues etc.. However the demo has run smoothly on my potato PC so far.

Where can I find logs and where do we upload/share?
Thanks & keep up the good work.
I managed to beat the demo the other day, no need to salvage cells either. Just some use of the control board at some points. I was surprised that I did it...
Now for the game to come out in full.....
My earlier suggestions stand though.
Autopilot for cargo drop off. Would free you up to perform truck maintenance while on the go.
Snotty AI companion: The Truck is also an AI, add banter as you circumvent the galaxy.
EV Tether: Would be nice to repair your truck while on the go. Option for EV tether would be nice. Also would speed up Salvage if you can "retract" yourself after grabbing some salvage.
Star Trucker radio streaming service, sign me up !!!!
Encountered a bug where my truck started drifting away at steadily increasing speed while doing an EVA. Had to quit and restart since there was no way to catch up to the truck.
Feedback Suggestions:
- Adding a tether or some other way to get back to the truck in case of emergency. Even an emergency beacon to call for help / pick-up could be interesting.
- Adding a gravity brake of some sort. I was sure the truck was stationary when I went out the air lock, and yet it immediately started drifting. (I assume it was a bug.)
- Allow the user manual to be intractable, so we can get a diagram of all the truck parts and placement. Took a while to find the Gravity generator since it isn't labelled like the other components. (meaning even after looking under the stairs I wasn't sure what that part did until testing it.) Would also be nice to know that you need to power down a system first before pulling any components.
- Add incentive for using the truck lanes (ex. reduced fuel consumption, increased speed, piloting assist, etc.)
- Interval auto-save function.
- Different Radio stations? Would be interesting to get a few different options (ex. Metal, Lo-Fi, Talk Radio, News, etc.)
- Up/Down/Left/Right translation function. Can be tough to fine tune truck placement without it, and there's no need to be limited to plane controls in space where true three directional movement is possible.
- Space Pirates? could be interesting to have to evade pirates when hauling high value goods. Maybe call in fighter support for a cut of the contract payout or just evade them on your own to keep the cash.
1 The thing with truck sims normally is: "driving to be a slight challange while fun, looking at scenery, hauling long distances" here it's more "driving and caring for the truck is the real challenge, routes are really short, with some jumps in between, scenery as space is, rather empty". I wonder if that game could be pushed to the long haul part more.
2 music is banger, needs more tracks tho
3 i would think that cb radio would be more advanced tech in the future, it's hard to understand for me (I'm not a native english speaker) and captions are hard to read while doing other stuff. that's another point for making routes longer, as it feels weird to radio in the same 3 minutes you get from warp gate to target.
4 i accidentily skipped the tutorial on the grav gen and had a hard time finding out where to fix it. after a quick google search i learned about the staircase. maybe give a marker for the first time the failure occurs
5 it feels weird to have save highways that actually lead into a bit of nothingness. while getting to docks and other stuff often has debris in it's way. I would've expected some safer passages, like a tight "road" network between POIs, even though the shortcuts offroad could lead through debris fields.
debris is also really hard to see, even with the blinking warning on the dash.
6 starting out with a broken shield and not knowing if it needs to be purchased later or if i could fix it, might need another hint or tutorial
BUGS:
-at one point i lost my cargo, not sure if, that happened when a breaker tripped.
-no save game?
-at one point after getting back into the cabin from a spacewalk, i couldn't interact with anything anymore. so i had to close the game
anyway, wasn't expecting to like it that much, great job <3
Customizable controls, most racing games put brake on space and having that be accelerate nearly broke me.
Working vsync? game was running @ 80-100 fps on a 60 hz monitor with vsync on.
Better driving control, the driving doesn't feel intuitive at least for me and even after finishing the demo twice I still have issues with it. The pitch up and down feels too sensitive and trailers feel like they swing around way too much.
When outside of the vehicle doing repairs or whatever there's no reason you shouldn't have a safety tether. Also, I had my gas cap float away while doing an emergency refuel. We can put trucks in space but not design a better gas cap?
Space roads are such a cool idea and I want to use them but in practice they are frustrating and I'd rather fly through a debris field. If they auto piloted at a decent rate of speed they would be so much cooler.
The hood is too damn high and obstructs way to much of the view.
Other drivers have no collision avoidance of any kind. I had a three trailer npc truck plow into me while parked outside a docking bay.
The only thing is, I think this game felt like it needed VR supoport and tactile controls. So the ability to use the controls in the truck with my hands if im in VR. Also, HOTAS support would be huge as well with customizable controls. It almost felt as if the game was built for these things.
Other than that, I loved the demo! Was super fun!
All systems are down in a few minutes and there is no explanation where are the unit control for the system...
Like gravity was down and it took me a few minutes to find the where to change the power cell for it.
Same for the temperature but couldn't find it so i'm dead...
After testing the Demo it's an instant follow+wishlist ! A encounter 2 little issues :
- First, it's pretty hard to dock bakward in a 3D environment, or maybe i could not find 'up' 'down' 'strafe' keys ?
- secondly, i had to turn on the fuse for gravity after it went out of battery but some crate falls on my head and i slipped through the truck for a long long fall into space with apparently no death !
Good job, thank you so much for the demo and keep on the fun work <3
