Game has crashed twice so far the first time was just at the first gate and secondly after you drop off the cargo your carrying.

Love the game, there're a couple of things of note though: map needs a GPS function and way points need to be bigger and needs to standout more.

Hi,

It's really amazing, and makes me want to buy the game when it comes out.

Regarding the gameplay mechanics, although I love the delivery, several things struck me as odd.

Feedback/questions when a played the demo:
- There is no save system in the demo,
- How do you recharge the batteries?
- How do you repair the internal system, which is broken at the start?
- Why is it that when you arrive at a delivery dock, a module is right in the middle, so there's a good chance you'll bump into it.
- Fuel consumption is so high and we only have a range of 30km.
- What are the boxes in the truck for (other than circuit breakers, batteries and air filters)?
- Why are NPC trucks faster at jumping through gate than we are?
- Why we can't just fill up a specific quantity at the gas station ?
- Can you upgrade your truck?
- We have a bed but can't interact to sleep

Thanks so much for setting up a demo

only blackscreen after starting the game (after press space)

Hello, thanks for demo. Game looks intresting so far. Just getting random crashes and for that reasaon I have not been able to finish first job. Sometimes game crashes at very begging, other time after new job selection.

Very fun so far. Couldn't figure out how to turn gravity back on after refueling it (maybe the fuel cell was broken?)

Please add an FOV slider in the full game, quite narrow atm, would keep me from buying as it makes me nauseaus after a while.

But really chill atmosphere, could see myself picking it up, feels like Euro Truck in space with more involved truck management and walking around.

Enjoyed playing the demo, visuals are real nice . Some other person has already pointed out some things i was gonna put for gameplay , But maybe an FOV slider in future?

Thanks for the demo. I'll start by saying I installed this immediately when I saw it available, and upon completion of playing I seen there was a 2.7 GB update. So I'm not sure what I missed, or what the update did. And upon actually stating the game, it crashed 3 times while trying to adjust settings and start a new game. At the time I was trying out both Xbox controller and keyboard/mouse. After the third crash, I just used the keyboard and managed to play through the whole demo.

Thoughts so far on what I did play:

Gameplay itself felt a bit slow getting to destinations. The control does take some getting used it. There is another half to the gameplay which is management of systems. That felt a bit too hectic and almost a bit of anxiety as I was expecting trouble at any moment. The thing is, there isn't a way to easily monitor the current status of a system to know that it may require maintenance for something. You just get warning beeps, and you know something is wrong. Having very limited money and supplies, I'm assuming that all of these failures and maintenance was designed in the demo to showcase the activities surrounding your space truck.

After a few deliveries, I managed to use up all my batteries basically. In one instance I actually switched batteries from one system to the core system since the core system seems to drop quickly and at that time I did NOT have two replacement batteries left. I had previously replaced those batteries before that time as well. The gravity also seems to go down quickly. Had to replace that battery twice in the demo. The thing is, extra components that were not in storage boxes kept taking damage when they fell whenever I re-enable the system after swapping gravity battery. A very cool feature about the gravity, but items degrade quickly that way. The air filters still had 65+ durability each, but the oxygen system stopped working at that point. Didn't notice the oxygen gauge dropping, only realized once it was down to 6 and dropping after warning beeps were happening. Only had 3 replacement filters so couldn't replace all 4 of them. It was enough though. The only thing I had extra at the end was a partially charged battery and a few circuit boards.

During my time, I had stopped to fuel up my truck once. It cost maybe around $750. Some jobs only pay $300. Doing two of those jobs wouldn't even be enough to fill up my fuel, let alone cover the cost of batteries, air filters, and circuit boards. Unless there is a way to recharge and repair broken or damaged parts. I did not do any extra exploring or went off the beaten path, only did a straight shot to complete a few deliveries to level up 3 times for the demo. Had I stopped to explore I might not have had enough replacement parts to complete it.

The space lanes are a bit hard to follow and navigate. When coming through a gate you're not in a lane and there is really no navigation to direct you to the lane. This makes it a bit difficult to get back on track.

While in 3rd person view, the range to waypoints doesn't seem to update frequently enough. Switching back to 1st person the range in the cabin view updates often.

I've run into a cargo drop off point where there was already a trailer in there. And it was a tight squeeze to get it in there. I had very little room and nearly brushed the side of it. I would expect that the delivery point would be vacant allowing me to park in there more easily, at least on the smaller docks. The one that was occupied was a small one and the trailer was parked in the center leaving very little room to park another trailer adjacent to it.

In the end, I was getting desperate to just get the last job completed so I could level up a third time to end the demo. Lack of parts to continue to maintain my truck was the main factor, fuel was another. Having to deviate off course to fuel up not only costs a lot of money to begin with for the fuel, but at the same time batteries are discharging and parts are degrading.

Also, while my FPS would be steady, even when it was at 120 FPS, things seem to move a bit choppy in space. Like it was lagging.

Overall, I would summarize by saying the current demo felt slow in the space delivery department, but hectic micromanaging systems with limited parts and something going wrong with the truck frequently. Fuel, batteries and part degradation seem to drop far too quickly, which takes away from something that I feel would be a chill experience. Making a profit seems hindered by the fact that expenses like fuel and parts will make profit very low early game. And that's as long as you don't accidentally hit something, to which during the demo, a driving infraction cost me more than the contract was paying. Making it a little more grindy that I'd expect.

Thanks for the demo and I'll be keeping an eye on updates.

(Content copied from a thread I started before this existed)

First impressions are decent, it's a demo, there's bugs, that's fine. Some things I'd like to see:

Cruise control, Button configuration and remapping, better on screen indicator of current objective, better labeling of systems (actual labels, not just when you hover over), Reset camera position button, all stop brake (like in hardspace shipbreaker), some indication of what we should do with used power cells would be nice, account wide tutorial screens (if you've seen them, they don't pop up again), some sound effects (like the gate) are overbearingly loud even at %50 volume, controller vibration strength setting.

2 bugs I encountered were: Shipping container already in my drop off point and my heat didn't work in Purity and froze to death.

Side note, is it just me or does the hood of the truck feel like it takes up too much of the window?

Optimization is zero, no matter what settings you set, it's still 45-60 fps. It literally doesn't change.
My system:

16 ram

Feedback: I love it so far, cannot wait for full release

I have made a mini series of 3 videos for this but will but my thoughts below:

Cruise control - Would be great to keep engines running at a set power without having to keep finger on trigger (This may already be in game and I missed it).
Recenter screen key - Might be because i'm used to truck sims but I have a key to center view after I have been looking around. If this is already in then some way to remap controls would be great.
FOV - Seemed a little too zoomed in and would be nice to see the monitors on the sides as well as a good chunk of the window and dash.
Power consumption - Seemed a little quick in the time I played, not sure how this would translate in the full version but might need balancing.
Purity bug - Turned heating up and it didn't seem to affect the temp when in the purity system.
Translation controls - Will there be a way to translate up/down/left/right?
Space lanes - Love the idea of these but felt difficult to stay in them. Maybe the incentive for using these is they keep you more stable and in lane?

That's all I can think of but just to say I love the aesthetic of the game, map/jobs screen was a joy to see. The interactivity around fixing the ship has the right balance of not too complex and not too simple. I can really see the love that has gone into this and I wish you well.
