Yea I really don't like that I can't press f1 to see the controls.
To rotate you have to hover your cursor about half way up the building until you get a ring around it, then just click and drag. I haven't figured out how to rotate buildings before you place them :(
You edit buildings by interacting with one of the 3 edit layers on them with your cursor, bottom - location, middle - rotation, top - elevation.
Yes, one can just delete the building and place it again (this is what I've been doing), but IMO it would be great to be able to slide buildings around post-placement to refine where they are.
Definitely not intuitive at first glance, though. I don't recall the tutorial (if you call the tiny pop-up text in the first couple of minutes of the game a tutorial) mentioning this detail.
